Must-Knows for Checked Baggage
Service is available only for travel luggage and can be used up to 28 inches and/or 30kg per luggage.
In the case of using baggage size/number exceeding the checked baggage regulations of the airline, you must pay an additional fee on-site, and this is separate from Goodlugg service fee.
Please check in advance that checked baggage does not contain any prohibited items. Baggage check-in is not possible if prohibited items are included, so it is replaced with a luggage delivery service to the airport, and you must pick it up at the airport and check in yourself.

Q. Is this a service that I meet Goodlugg staff at the hotel, receive the boarding pass, and handover the check-in luggage?
A. Yes! Goodlugg provide convenient check-in service at the hotel not at the airport check-in counter. As Goodlugg will help to issue your boarding pass & baggage tag, and complete baggage check-in, you must meet Goodlugg staff at the designated location on time.
Q. Is the service available to any flight?
A. Currently, service is available only for Emirates Airlines direct flights departing from Dubai Airport and arriving at Incheon Airport.
Q. Is Home Check-in service available at other accommodations than hotel?
A. Currently, Home Check-in service is only available at all hotels in downtown Dubai.
Q. Can I pick up my luggage at Incheon Airport?
A. Yes! Your luggage will be delivered from Dubai Hotel to airport safely with a CCTV-equipped van, and is automatically loaded onto the flight. So, you just go to Dubai Airport without luggage and pick up your luggage after arriving at Incheon Airport.
Q. Is the airline baggage check-in fee included?
A. No. The service is limited to check-in at Dubai hotels, luggage delivery to Dubai airport and freight loading, and does not include airline checked baggage fees imposed by airlines. Therefore, if checked baggage costs are incurred according to airline regulations, you must pay for them separately.

Q. If I am boarding a flight with family/friends, can one person make a reservation for all?
A. You can add up to 4 luggages of your own per reservation. Therefore, if you have a companion, you must make a separate reservation for each.
Q. I want to amend my reservation. What should I do?
A. Reservations without any price & number of luggage change can be modified by 48 hours before flight departure. If you want to modify the number of luggage, please cancel the original reservation and create new reservation at least 48 hours before scheduled flight departure.
Q. I need to bring additional luggage. Can I add on the departure day?
A. Same as when you check-in your luggage at the airline counter, you can add your luggage by paying an additional fee. Please note that this fee is not charged by Goodlugg and is paid to the airline.
Q. The flight was suddenly delayed/cancelled on the departure day. What should I do?
A. In the event of an unexpected situation such as flight cancellation on the day of departure, please contact us immediately via KakaoTalk Channel (ID: goodlugg). *However, cancellation/refund is not possible if the service cannot be used on the day of departure due to any personal reason.

Q. Is a local phone number necessary?
A. A local contact number is required for a smooth meeting with Goodlugg staff. If there is no local number, we will contact you via email or Whatsapp. We will send a link to the local contact to check the location of Goodlugg staff in real time, and if you does not show up at the appointed time, we will contact you directly by phone.
Q. How do I meet Goodlugg staff at the hotel?
A. A link to confirm the location of Goodlugg staff will be sent via text/email/Whatsapp according to the time (in 30-minute intervals) and location (hotel lobby/in front of hotel building/hotel room) selected when making the reservation. Please check this link 30 minutes before the appointment time, and arrive at the meeting place 5 minutes before the arrival of Goodlugg staff with your luggage and passport. If you do not show up at meeting time, we will contact you by phone, and if we do not meet you after 20 minutes, the service will be automatically canceled and no refund will be given.
Q. Are there any restricted items that cannot be put in the luggage?
A. The prohibited items under checked baggage regulations cannot be loaded to flight, and in this case, you must pick up your luggage after arriving at Dubai Airport and check in by yourself. In addition, Goodlugg will not be responsible for any damage/loss of your luggage if prohibited items are included.
Damaged/Lost Baggage
Q. What should I do if my luggage is damaged or lost?
A. Goodlugg staff will protect your luggage by cover to prevents damage and opening during Home Check-in. Hence, there is no risk of damage on the way to the airport. Nevertheless, in case of damage/loss, please contact KakaoTalk Channel within 6 hours. If damage/loss is confirmed during delivery, compensation is up to KRW 300,000 per luggage or up to KRW 1,000,000 per customer. Hence, we recommend not including fragile/expensive items that exceed the compensation amount in your luggage. *If your luggage has been lost or damaged by an airline, you should claim to the airline directly since it is the airlines responsibility.

Please skip Baggage Claim at Dubai Airport to provide service by Goodlugg. For security reasons, it is not possible to open luggage at the arrival airport. If you have something to take out, please double check before check-in.

Q. Is the airline baggage check-in fee included?
A. No. Our service is limited to pick-up of luggage at Dubai Airport and delivery to the hotel, so, the cost of airline checked baggage is not included. Therefore, you must pay for checked baggage fee separately according to airline regulations.
Q. Is the service available to any flight?
A. Currently, service is available only for Emirates Airlines direct flights departing from Incheon Airport and arriving at Dubai Airport.
Q. Which areas are available for the service?
A. Currently, our service is available to all hotels in downtown Dubai.
Booking/Change/Cancellation
Q. If I am boarding a flight with family/friends, can one person make a reservation for all?
A. You can add up to 4 luggages of your own per reservation. Therefore, if you have a companion, you must make a separate reservation for each.
Q. I want to amend my reservation. What should I do?
A. Reservations without any price & number of luggage change can be modified by 48 hours before flight departure. If you want to modify the number of luggage, please cancel the original reservation and create new reservation at least 48 hours before scheduled flight departure.
Q. Check-in baggage was added at the departure airport. What should I do?
A. If your luggage is suddenly added at Incheon Airport, please contact us via KakaoTalk Channel (ID: goodlugg) as soon as possible before departure, and we will help you to provide service together with your existing reservation.
Q. The flight was suddenly delayed/cancelled on the departure day. What should I do?
A. In the event of an unexpected situation such as flight cancellation on the day of departure, please contact us immediately via KakaoTalk Channel (ID: goodlugg). *However, cancellation/refund is not possible if the service cannot be used on the day of departure due to any personal reason.
Luggage Pick-up
Q. When can I receive my luggage?
A. Your luggage will arrive at the hotel front desk within 6 hours after your flight arrival. However, delivery time may be adjusted in case of flight delay or baggage delay.
Q. Are there any restricted items that cannot be put in the luggage?
A. Luggage arriving at Dubai Airport must pass X-ray inspection at customs. Therefore, delivery is not possible if any prohibited items are included. Goodlugg will not be responsible for any damage/loss that may occur in this case.
Q. I am wondering if my luggage is being picked up and moving well at Dubai Airport Baggage Claim. How can I check?
A. You can check the status such as airport pick-up and hotel arrival via real-time notification talk which is linked with Goodlugg tracking system.
Damaged/Lost Baggage
Q. What should I do if my luggage is damaged or lost?
A. Goodlugg staff will protect your luggage by cover to prevents damage and opening during Home Check-in. Hence, there is no risk of damage on the way to the airport. Nevertheless, in case of damage/loss, please contact KakaoTalk Channel within 6 hours. If damage/loss is confirmed during delivery, compensation is up to KRW 300,000 per luggage or up to KRW 1,000,000 per customer. Hence, we recommend not including fragile/expensive items that exceed the compensation amount in your luggage. *If your luggage has been lost or damaged by an airline, you should claim to the airline directly since it is the airlines responsibility.
